The Portrait Experience
What to Expect
Working with Marla is a guided, personal, full-service, and intentional experience from start to end.
You will be Marla’s only client on the evening of your portrait session so you’ll have her full attention and focus. Every step is thoughtfully structured so you can relax and truly enjoy the experience while Marla creates magical artwork that will affect you and which you will cherish for generations.
The Conversation
Marla will start by giving you a quick call to get to know you and what you’re envisioning. This is where your personal detailed experience really begins.
Your Portrait Session
Your session is fully guided. From assistance with wardrobe selection to choosing the perfect location, Marla will create an experience that is easy, relaxed, and gently cared for.
The Studio Reveal
Marla invites you to come into the studio for a slideshow on the big movie screen where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy seeing your wonderful images for the first time – and yes, delightful chocolates included!
The in-studio reveal experience
Marla will guide you through selecting the images you love most then deciding how you’d like to enjoy them; whether to share them, display them or just preserve them as personal and intimate artwork.
Each portrait is hand-edited so what you take with you is magical, lasting, personal, and a deeply meaningful investment in yourself and your family.
